“Blue Maui ‘Ukulele has been one of the best kept secrets on Maui, but hopefully not for long. I LOVE my Blue Maui ‘Ukulele. Colly Normon builds beautiful, easy on the hands instruments that only get better with age. He uses the finest quality woods and puts his personal loving care into every ‘ukulele he builds. Each instrument is a hand-crafted, one of a kind gem. I think my Blue Maui ‘Ukulele will last my lifetime. But if I ever need another one, I will head straight to Blue Maui ‘Ukulele. Five star rating!!!” *****

I have been playing a Blue Maui `Ukulele for 4(? maybe you know the exact time??) years. Prior to this I was playing Kamaka which I loved, but now I am hooked on the sweet sound and the light weight of Blue Maui `Ukulele. I had my `ukulele made for me and Colly was lovely to work with through the whole process.

We own two of Colly’s ‘ukuleles, and love them both. The woods he chooses and the quality of construction are excellent. Being woodworkers ourselves, we are more critical than most. The sound of the ‘ukuleles is full-textured and bright. Having a nice instrument makes it motivating to play!

The Blue Maui ‘Ukuleles have outstanding sound & tonal quality, excellent craftsmanship, and are solidly built! They are so great my son has a tenor and I have a 4 and 6 string baritone ‘ukulele! We have fun during our family jam sessions.

From a blank canvas to a beautiful instrument, this handmade marvel resonates the most uplifting and joyful sound. Crafted all by hand and in only weeks, Colly Norman is truly an Uke making master. From its sleek wooden body, made from Mango, Koa, Maple, and many other amazing woods, to its tiny detail which can only be achieved by such a fine artist’s handiwork, this ‘ukulele is a true wonder and beauty, and the feel of it when you play it is so ideal. There’s no going wrong when you buy from the best, from Colly Norman at Blue Maui Ukes.

Blue Maui Ukes by Colly Norman…
I realized when I picked one up that this wasn’t just your average factory-made ‘ukulele. Colly works for weeks, painstakingly creating your very own masterpiece. But it doesn’t just stop at looks. The deep, rich tones of this incredible instrument will lull you away to the islands of Hawaii where it was handcrafted just for you.
